One great horrorfilm from the director of "Tetsuo".
Young policewoman Keiko is confronted with two horrible murders. It looks like suicide but both victims dialed the number "0" before they died. To find out what was happening she detects a mysterious man called "Nightmare Detective" who can enter dreams.

PS: If anyone wants to know, the child voice in the background says something like "Help me"

watched it last night, film was terrificly intense. Shinya Tsukamoto is a truly talented directorial force & his acting in this is equally as impressive :)

@TheCheeseCake there are many movies that reminds me of freddie krueger, but this one is special. freddie krueger was bullshit. splitter were creepier than that. õ.o

Hehe in the beginning I thought that, too. But the story here is totally different from Freddy.

The style is different. But is the story different? Its certainly similar. Killer in your dreams. The only thing I don't get is how can someone kill you in your dream...I mean its your dream. If someone hacks you up into ten pieces, you can just decide that this won't kill you.

The story is also different. Just the idea is similiar.
Well... in this film the victims kill themselves while they dream of being killed (for example stab themselves with a pair of scissors.) Well that's what it looks like for outsiders. Kind of...
