The experiment with steam sound loops for Trainz continues, this time with a whimsical sound file that literally exclaims "I think I can", in sync with the locomotive's driving wheels, as the little engine ascends a steep grade. Inspired by the "Story of the Engine that Thought It Could", published in the New York Tribune on April 8, 1906, attributed to a sermon by the Rev. Charles S. Wing to the Norstrand Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church in Brooklyn, NY, which is turn apparently inspired the "Little Engine that Could" children's books, first published in 1930, by Platt & Munk

  • Wow, you can actually hear "I think I can" very clearly. Kind of sounds spooky. Great job.
