Manatee hug

At a manatee sanctuary in Brazil, this little baby kept hugging his mom! Sooo cute.

The sanctuary is for releasing them back into the wild however these manatees are here for good the baby couldnt be released as her attachment was too strong with her mother. Aw

they do - this is a rehabilitation center, there is only about 6 manatees in the whole center. I am strongly against captivity and campaign quite a deal against it, but basically as soon as the manatees are better they are released. Most of the manatees in the center you could not see as they did not want them to get used to human contact

i got a problem with zoos but i dont have a problem with reserves. i have visited reserves in africa trust me those animals are safer than they would b if they were in the wild

i have a question about manatees, is it true, that if they get to playfull with a human, they could hold the person with its mouth, and not let go, and drown the person? i heard this today and just wanted to know if its true
