I see you have all these negative comments, because of the focus, but I really like it. It gives it an interesting look.

@somfender The D60 doesn't have an autofocus meter inside and therefore the cheaper 120 dollar version of this lens will not work, you need to buy the more expensive 340 buck lens with AF-S for that body, I upgraded to the D90 and the cheaper version will work on mine

I guess after reading some of the comments, my take is, the DIY DOF Adapter has really change alot of our way of thinking about shooting videos. Its not only just straight shooting, we have this option, to experiment with depth of field.
It does not have to be perfect all the time, that is what is so great about Youtube. It allows all of us to freely experiment our skills and really put it out there for all to see!
To everyone, keep doing whatever you are all doing!!!!

sorry to tell you, in this video NOTHING IS IN PROPER FOCUS. since the lens has f1.8 it doesn't mean you have to shoot duck in the lake even with the 1.8 which makes everything looks really blurred. i dont find any reason for you to use shallow dof in that scene. anyways, goodluck

I do agree with you but the reason for this is that it's a homemade adapter being viewed upside down. Also it's not supposed to be a professional film. I stay on f1.8 because if I wanted deep focus why not just get rid of the adapter?
