Dave McClure, the Associate Administrator of the Office of Citizen Services and Communications, at GSA, invites you to submit a video to the USA.gov video contest. As the official place to find the information you need about government benefits and services, USA.gov is the tool to use to make your life better. You can search for a government job, get answers to your tax questions, apply for everything from student loans to Social Security, learn how to protect yourself from identity theft, and more.
Take a look around USA.gov and then show us in a creative, entertaining and informative 30 to 90 second video how you use the information you find there to make your life better. The creator of the winning video will receive $2,500.
There are two steps to enter the contest, which begins Feb. 22, 2010:
1. Upload your video to YouTube, then submit your video in one of two ways: click the "Submit a video" button at the upper right or paste your link in the topics area.
2. Fill out the entry form found at http://www.usa.gov/contest
The deadline for submission 1 p.m. EST is April 2, 2010.
