TableMusic (revised)

Position, size and color of objects on the table are converted into the parameters of sound. Anything can be put on the table according to idea (2d marker for PC is unnecessary).

It is preferable that musical performance with computer is made more visible. But the situation on the table might be more important than screen (Objects are sometimes concealed by object detection).

Because I do not always operate the objects for controlling sound, it is not always true that sound controlling is the intention of this work. (So what am I doing?) In a sense, this is a device to think about performance and communication.

The performance of "TableMusic" won the excellent prize of the 4th AAC Sound Performance Dojo, hosted by Aichi Arts Center in 10 October 2009.
