I'm not a Marxist, but that's always a nice character assassination to demonstrate your own ignorance. Marxism 101: Marxists take over the government to implement socialism and hope the state withers away (which apparently it doesn't).

@checkreality1 There's nothing wrong with giving to others, but there is something wrong with taking another person's justly-acquired money and threatening them with violence if they resist.
Also, the government's system of "charity" has been demonstrated not to work, assuming the goal is to get people back on their feet. Our welfare system encourages people to becoming poor, stay poor, and keep voting Democrat.
