Can a Windows Vista PC Run Windows XP Instead?

It is easy to install Operating systems. I can easly install Dos 7.1 on Microsoft Virtual PC like it was like pluging a cartridge into a GENESIS (Genesis does what nintendon't)

Any pc with Vista can run XP, its just that a lot of the drivers won't be installed.

I downgraded from Vista to xp and my DirectX version downgraded too, now I can't play some games and DirectX won't upgrade....

@Samuli385 I don't think so. I have tried it and it override my Vista OS and I had to reinstall Vista. It sucked. I created a partion and put I saved the XP on a different partion and it override the Vista partion. If you do it and it works good for you. It didn't work for me.
