Google this, "liya Lu" for more info. Her murderer was captured. man wanted in connection with the killing of his girlfriend was captured Thursday in Minneapolis, Minn., authorities said.
Isaac Campbell, 32, of San Gabriel, was caught following a short foot pursuit, Sheriff's homicide Lt. Gil Carrillo said.
Detectives had been pursuing Campbell for nearly two weeks after discovering the body of his girlfriend Liya Lu, 31, in a trash can that had been dumped in an Arcadia backyard.
"I'm glad they caught him," said Lu's friend William Moo, of Rosemead. "I want to see justice done That's all I can really process right now."

I just saw today that Isaac was found not guilty of 1st degree murder and a new trial will be set. I knew Isaac back from grade school, used to hang out with him a lot. It's so sad that someone you knew could commit such a heinous crime. I am sorry for your loss.

The jury is being picked right now. Ultimately, it is God who will judge this man. Even in the pain of any loss, it may bring a little comfort to know that God sees everything, the good and the bad. No one escape judgement even though we think they have escaped it right now. God bless the family.

I am stilled shocked by this tragedy, I knew Isaac for ten years and I would never have thought he was capable of something horrible like this. Liya Lu did not deserve her fate, but Isaac has earned his. Rest in peace Liya.

wow. I can't believe Mr. Campbell was found all the way in the Twin Cities. First, I saw missing person posters on campus, then I heard about her disappearance on the news.

I just don't understand why this a55h0l3 did something like this. I'known liya for 5 years. She was one of the sweetest gils I've ever met. She will always smile for no reason. I just hope this Isaac Campbell pays for what he did. Rest in peace my good friend, you are in a better place now.
