I have always been disappointed in Crystal's representation of Lara. They took her from a hard core, independent Tomb Raider, into your casual treasure hunter with crew and all. I think that it was a major downfall in the series, and if the classics are such "utter rot" to Crystal, they should look at there own game(s). i.e. Legend... But anyway... Lara is not a gymnast. I think we all could've gone without her "acrobatic" skills in Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld. Core 4Ever

@xBigxJxProductionsx Gotta agree with you here. Her new moves didn't bother me SO much but I think they spent their time on all the wrong things. I guess she feels too "Hollywood" with her crew like you mentioned.

i'll go with core design, tomb raider 1, 2 and 3 are the best tomb raiders.

IMO i think the acrobatics make her more badass and she was still some what independent she went to all the locations by herself and i don't think they were calling the older games "utter rot" as in they were bad games but as in they didn't happen and to say the old games were "utter rot" is a little bit too harsh, but who knows. To me the newer games are awesome and so are the originals

I prefer Core's Lara any day. She's the one I grew up loving. Also, why change the entire biography? I think it's pointless. It's like all three Laras are three different people.

@bbb40025 Agree ! :D I must say that Crystal Dinamics is doing a great job, and they made me want to play tomb raider again! :D I also agree with you that there need to be some more challenges, and they need to be harder! But i think after the CD takeover, Tomb Raider became great again!

I prsonally always prefered the fist 5 classic Tomb Raiders over the newer ones. I thought the Crystal dinamic ones are ok but not as fun for me. I always wondered why when Crystal Dynamics took over they changed back story. Like how in the start of TR4 it's supposed to be like her first adventure when she was 16, then in TR7 it has the whole plane crash part instead when she was 9. By the looks of the new game coming out it looks like they're doing it again with changing her fist adventure.

I like the Tomb Raider Core games alot, but i think that the CD games are much better and the why they have changed the Bio. is fine by me, I kinda lost the interrest in Tomb Raider after game 4, And TB angel of darkness was a disaster! When TB legend came out it began to love TB again, and i loved the new Lara, and the new store! :D Toby Gard helped making Legend, and i think it is the best TB game in the series! :D Cant wait for the new Tomb Raider! Good thing that CD tok over :D

If you look at the first bar graph that is showed you will see that if cd didnt take over lara croft tomb raider wouldnt even be around most likly because of each game they were making it looks like its getting smaller and smaller and when trl came out it went up somewhat got more sells then it went down but then back up so..... I dont know but im just thinking that maby if they didnt take over the sires it might have been gone by now.
