Batman (the Beginning : a fan video with a different cast)

This is probably the weirdest vid with the weirdest idea EVER. I warned you!!!
So basically, think "Smallville".... except it's Gotham City, and our hero is Batman. a young, carefree rich man. I don't know much about the comics, so I did take some liberties with the characters.... Sorry, I don't want to offend any fan, it's just a AU video for fun.
So Bruce lives the grand life, living in a big mansion with his butler Alfred. His best friend is Harvey Dent, a teenager who's like a little brother to him. Harvey is a confused young man who constantly struggles with his father, a powerful businessman, and the pressure he puts on him. One night, Bruce meets reporter Vicki Vale and immediatly likes her. However, the reporter is on a trail of a story and soon feeds to Bruce what she found out : his parents were killed by a hitman hired by George Dent. Bruce then remembers the memories he repressed : witnessing his parents's murder on that fateful night. This memory changes him : he becomes bitter and vengeful, and pushes away Alfred, Vicki but especially Harvey, the son of the man who killed his parents. He goes after the hitman and puts him into jail. He realizes how isolated he's become, but Harvey doesn't accept his apology. Bruce does realize he could make a difference in the future, and that there is hope for Gotham.
So, what do you think ? I had fun making it, although I realize it's not very good. The sound is messed up at a couple places.... urhg. It's sort of a trailer, I guess. Anyway, enjoy, for what it's worth !




The crazy cast
Bruce Wayne : Ed Westwick (because he.... rocks ? There's no other way of saying it ! )
Alfred : Michael Caine (because the Batman movies spoiled me, and I love him as Alfred)
Harvey Dent : Connor Paolo (I struggled to find my Harvey Dent, but I thought it was a good idea to have him be a teenager, and Connor Paolo is awesome). I liked the idea ( a la Smallville)to have him be Bruce's friend... for now.
George Dent Harvey's father : John Glover (because he's such a good villain). I wanted to throw in a little conflict between Harvey and Bruce, plus the line "My father is dead because of your father !"in GG's last ep was too good to pass up, thus this storyline happened.
Vicki Vale : Allison Mack (because I LOVE her and she has lots of dialogue for the hero stuff) I don't know much about Batman's love interests, but I read about this character somewhere... go superhero&reporter pairing !
Morgan(the hitman) : Jensen Ackles (because he almost was Harvey Dent, but he was too... rough, I guess ? And I wanted to include him, and he looks good with a gun)
Bruce's father : Jeffrey Dean Morgan
Bruce's mother : Erica Durance
I almost put Selena Kyle(Catwoman)in there, but she didn't really fit. My casting for her was going to be Alona Tal, but she didn't fit into the plot at that point.

Wow, long summary ! The song is "Martial Law" by Bear McCreary(awesome song, btw). ENJOY !!

Dialogue
Bruce : I care about three things : money, the pleasure money brings me, and you.
Bruce : Save me a dance ?
Vicki : I've never entertained a billionaire before.
Harvey : I did this !
Bruce : Don't cave to your parent's wishes if they're not your desires.
Vicki : Do you think you could ever play the crimefighter by night ?
Bruce : Now there's a future I've never imagined.
Bruce : What's going on ? You told me you had something to say to me. Say it.
Vicki : He's the one that killed your parents. ( the sound is BAD here)
Bruce : They died in a plane crash when I was six.
Vicki : He hired a crime lord to do the dirty work.
Bruce : My father's dead because of your father
Bruce : Judging by the look on your face I'm guessing it wasn't your idea to come clean
George Dent : Are you threatening me ?
Vicki : You can't keep it all inside
Bruce : You are not my girlfriend
Vicki: I know
Alfred : Know your limits, Master Wayne
George : Call me when you're done.
Bruce : It's a pleasure doing business with you
Vicki : We live in dangerous times and for people to know that there is someone out there, someone dedicated to saving lives, that could really mean a lot.
Bruce : I don't have a family
Alfred : You do sir.
Bruce : I'm sorry ! I know how long you and I have been best friends.
Vicki : I think you might have a lot more to offer than you realize ( bad, BAD sound)
Alfred : you can make the choice that no one else can make. the right choice
Bruce : Maybe in the future
Vicki : There he is, just in time to save the day
Alfred: You have no idea.

lol nice editting but it's way of the batman story. Bruce while he was young was constantly training and making himself a much stronger and prepared being. The guy is a master at like everything. So during this time if he had a show it wouldn't be a typical teen drama like smallville. It'd be alot more serious. You don't become a ninja/detective/escape artist/ martial arts master/ computer tech/ criminolgy major/ slash master of disguise in a few of years. It takes a long time to reach his level

Yeah, your batman history is way off. First of all the man who killed bruces parents was named Joe chill, yeah he was in the comics first. Second Bruce waynes first comic love interest was Julie Madison. Of course Bruce Wayne would have been out of the country when he was that age, and was actually a close friend with Harvey. Please if your gonna make a video at least read batmans wikipedia to get an idea

You know that when the CW was still the WB, they came this *squishes thumb and index finger close together* close to making a television series about a young Bruce Wayne in the city, like the same basic early Smallville formula sort of deal but at the VERY last minute WB pulled the plug.

Then Bruce was gonna be on Smallville for an multi-episode arc, like the Green Arrow, and they killed that at last minute too.

Something about copyright issues and blocks from DC Comics against his use.
