I went to Kemah last year, and it wasn't as cool as it was when I was a kid. Sure, it was raining that day, but it was just- dead. There were other people, but the place hadn't been rennovated since my last visit, and it just felt empty

I miss eating at Pappadeaux's in Kemah and sitting out on the porch watching the boats. Maybe one day they will rebuild or build something comparable in its place.
