I wish they'd kept these on the market 3 or 4 years longer. I've had a camera in my hands since I could stand, and something like this would have been right up my alley around 1990 or so.
-
My first camera when I was a kid, I am now shooting my second music video.
-
Wow...this was my first cam. I carried it everywhere and must've recorded hundreds of hours on it :) wish I still had it

@alienhddna LMAO That's out there. I wasn't that kind of kid and my parents didn't think I was. I do have a digital camera now, and actually when I was a teenager my parents bought a video camera which they let me use of the time. :)

Well, this was the marketing ploy that got me tugging on my Mom's bank book!
I was just getting into BMX and Sk8ing in 1987 and they were clearing these PXL's out at Consumers distributing (canada) with the whole package for around $100
so my Mom went for it! Then my brother wrecked the little TV and adapter while stoned so it's been impossible to see the videos for many years. But I Still have the cam and tapes..so some day to transfer..thanks for sharing the commercial

man it was too expensive for me back then :(
I wanted one of these so bad when I was a kid. I saved and saved my money, and when I had enough money to buy it, my parents talked me into getting a keyboard instead. To this day I have no idea why they talked me into it, or why I let them. I didn't want a damn stinkin' keyboard. I wanted a PXL 2000!
