Got mine. It was definitely worth it waiting to see a 60MP sensor but you gotta work really hard for it.

The technical bug you described when having it tethered sounds like the computer runs out of RAM. How much RAM does your computer have? And is it 64-bit?

@XxXYoUrNaMeXXXXx4456 After a ton of testing and a lot of help from Hasselblad tech support I have determined it is a problem with the firewire 800 port on the computer.
If you use a firewire 800 from the camera to a 600 and plug into the firewire 600 port on the computer it works like a charm. Also, it seems to be intermittant. a lot of people have experienced the problem and then there are those who don't.

What really makes it so expensive? The sensor? I'm a total dslr novice, what are the main differences between a ccd and cmos without getting too technical. And when would 60 mpx be beneficial? Wouldn't 40 be plenty? How much would you have to blow it up to notice the differences? Excuse my ignorance, I'm just seriously curious as an outsider. Thanks.

@thepoozer My thought on how photography equipment mfg's set their prices is that they pick a price that no one would ever pay and then double it. I feel it is all waaaaaay over priced. Seems to me it's about time we become overpriced.
