Day Of Truth - 2008 - Controversy, Criticism & Opposition

This video is a criticism of the anti-gay "Day of Truth" organized by the Alliance Defense Fund.

The pro-gay "Day of Silence" was originally started so queer youth could protest the silencing effect discrimination and harassment has on their lives. To counter this, the religious right started the anti-gay "Day of Truth" which serves to push ex-gay programs on gay and lesbian youth in public schools.

Where is the baby? There is just dirty water! Church is filled with bigots, and nothing good would come out of it.

Just plain horrible. I would spread the message that there are homophobic bigots in church so that people would know this and avoid horrible christians churches.

The sad thing is that some do realize it but not until one of their children takes their life. But I also know from personal experience that this is often covered up by the family. Their religion has paralyzed their heart

What these so called Christian's don't understand, by hating and rejecting our LGBT youth is they are causing our children to take the greatest gift of all, their own lives.

It is utterly heartbreaking. In Phoenix they did a study, 40% of the homeless kids had been kicked out for being LGBT.

The Anti Gay industry will accept no blame for their hateful lies being a cause.

Why do we continue to listen to the spewers of hate?

I would have to say the greatest sin is worshiping a book, and not doing unto others as you would have done to you, and not loving God with all your heart and soul.

With all the hate in the world, why waste time and energy adding more? Go feed the hungry, relieve the suffering and care for all the homeless children.

Talk about idleness in the face of real evil.

What most people do not understand is that all that is required of us as humans it to treat others as we wish to be treated and to love the Lord with all our hearts. Hate of any kind only ruins the world. The sin of Sodom was pride, greed and idleness. Not helping their fellow man but abusing them. It is the sins of those who call them selves by the name of God but who do not love others in a Godly way that bring shame on a nation.

You have NO idea what Bigotry really is, if you call preaching from the Bible bigotry, then you have more bigotry than any church out there.
