I saw Willy twice in S.F. and he was unforgettable. The way he dressed, smoking wile singing,
every nuance was just so cool. But the thing that grabbed me was that voice. I became aware
of him from the Cruising soundtrack. Did he ever perform those songs live? Never could find hIs recordings until I went to Amoeba and they have all his European pressings and I was on cloud 9. Nice to know he a got his props...not nearly what he deserved. Thank you to all the people posting Please keep em' coming

Willy wore a French sailor slit -neck tee shirt (blue hriz stripes) pleated black clacks and black nuns shoes........Didnt play R&R ? plyd regge & blues
