  • I thought the voice - over says present day Lebanon, no?

  • Canaan preceded Mesopotamia and ancient Egypt. The land was a loose federation of towns and city states in a social, cultural and religious bond which was based on caravans and free trade.

It stretched from Gaza Strip of today to the Negev, West Bank, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. In some times Egypt north and Turkey south were part of Canaan. The Bible records that also.

By the way, original Canaanites were of mixed tribes and races.

  • "all these different peoples who had come to Canaan, were additions, sprigs grafted onto the parent tree...And that parent tree was Canaanite. A researcher cannot tell where the Canaanites leave off and the Arab Palestinians begin.", something I read.

  • Massive100, you are right when stating that Ethiopia, Nubia, and Cushite empires are before Kemt, but these trolls do not understand history.

  • The name is self explainatory

The Mesopotamian name is Ur Salimmu

& in literal Amorite it was Dur Salem

Ur is Mesopotamian means Town, Dur in Amorite means fortress. Salem is the Amorite GOD of perfection/completion. The famous name became the mesopotamian name because it was scripted that way, the later Jewish & Islamic names differed a bit...

  • so how does charlemagne fit into all of this

  • Did the Canaanites smell of Rancid Olive and Garlic. I love the thought of an open buffet. I think of Jerusalem as an open sewer, a giant holy latrine. A place where the semites spew themselves

    back and forth.

  • Did they have Human Sacrifice?

Nothing pleases the Semetic Gods as much as Child Sacrifice. Abraham's tale is a good example of this.

  • @elmalehjoseph

New pictures of Hyksos statues have been found: The Egyptologist François Auguste Ferdinand Mariette (February 11, 1821 – January 19, 1881), had them stashed away in his scrapbook. You will find them very interesting.

We can't post web links, so cut and paste this address, then add the necessary parts like (COM)

  • @MetallicThor The Canaanites and Phoenicians were the same.

  • @elmalehjoseph I believe the people of Canaan only emerged around 1500 BC which is around the same time of the Phoenicians. The Egyptians had dynasties since 3000BC...

  • @arkansasbean Well, I have only heard a rumor that habiru were the jews. Maybe it's just a rumor, don't really know much about it but I bet you could find some info somewhere online. Good luck :]

  • @mikeblaze2e Well I havnt really read much about the hyksos, I study mostly biblical so when it ties together I read it. I dont see why they couldnt be the same, ive never really thought of it. Do you have any historical information? I would love to know your thoughts.

  • @arkansasbean well that is how the media works, what ever you talk about people simply listen to it and a lie becomes a truth.
