For me, Silent Hill died after Team Silent (Konami Japan) left production (after Silent Hill 4).

@DarkToboki I liked Shattered Memories, it was fun and the psychology tests were hilarious, but interesting.

@samael1981 I actually found Origins enjoyable to play. They at least gave it their best shot to make it look and feel like a Silent Hill game again despite the lame action buttons and the recycling of old monsters to make them "new". It revealed the Alessa story that took away the suspense and fear from the first game.

Homecoming, Shattered Memories(what irony), and soon-to-be-out Downpour are all terrible.

Rule of Rose is more different, but still great.
