"The song was written on the beach in Salthill in the late hours of a Tuesday Night in May. I had no instrument in Galway that night and sang the song a few times to myself before etching the lyrics in the sand to help me remember them. On a recent visit to that beach, two years after the song was written, only I could see that they were still there. (An older Ciaran grins)"
