  • I want to remind everyone that sees this film that this parade was organized and funded by the residents of Darby Borough in the late 1950's. Strong towns are not built by the government. They are built by the people who live and work and are commited to making them strong and healthy places to live. If you live in Darby now or any other small town across America, it is you who determines the kind of place you live. Get out in your community and make it a place you want to live in.
