this song and "open arms" are the 2 best rock ballads - ever. there are other good ones, but these 2 really hit the emotional cords in people.

@MrLRO90 I first heard this song when I was in 6th grade. While I was listening to it I remember thinking "This is one of the best songs that I've ever heard". That was 35 years ago and it still is one of the best songs I've ever heard.
