Mydata MY100DX 14

This is a new Mydata SMT (Pick and place) machine. Seen together with 3 other Mydata machines (background). It has two mount head carriers and linear motor drives in X and Y movements.

For those who do not know, this type of machine picks electrical components (Resistors, capacitors, diodes, processors and so on) and places them on the PCB.

This is a test run after the machine has been installed.
Unfortunatley the video does not show much of the actual PCB being mounted.

Filmed with a Sony Ericsson P990i mobile phone (may explain the picture quality).

MYDATA is good machines much better then the Europlacer shit

@1000assa supposedly its 64,000 placements per hour, but thats picking 16 0102 components and placing them in a strait line, which in a live production board just is not going to happen. most of the boards i build have 1500 ish components of all sizes and dose a board in about 4-6 mins.
