    I think so, too. When you see a video of a paramecium sitting there and then swimming over a few "inches(I don't know the right measurement for something so small)", it is deciding to move over a few inches.

    Snails too. I like Science, but I wouldn't want to do any possibly painful experimenting on things, even paramecium. I know we probably kill lots little thing just by sitting down or cleaning things off, but those aren't really avoidable. On purpose feels different.
