all he made was a multivibrator, caps are in that unit, they are charged up from a houshold plug. yes it will run lamps like he has but will not run a frig or washer! like he said there are not computor caps in but , it has been said you can use photo caps, they do the same thing.charge at the grid to use later when the lights go out, wow a homemade 120 dc volts! it whould work great if he used them to turn a charger on, to keep the caps full, then you have free power, for the lights, forever!
