The fires were next to my house.
Burnt most of my grass.

my dad lives there and he told me that the fires were like 15 ft away from his house. so he saw it and ran out his house nd hopped in his car and the firefighters told him he couldnt leave. cuz they had the arsonist in the area. so no one could leave or come in the neighborhood

I remember passing by these homes and A LOT of homes did have burnt brush around them and then the house was fine just the paint melted a bit! It was amazing (That the houses were still up, not the fires)

I live here in Palm Bay and the fires were all around my house. My window blinds were warped form the heat. Our house was saved by a couple who lived on the street behind us. We didin't know them and they risked the'r lives to save our house when we couldn't be there. Thank God for them.
This was probably the scariest thing I've ever seen, I still freak out a little when I hear sirens or smell smoke...
