My Akita is 14 weeks old and listen to all of those commands. Akita thireve off being a part of the pack. If you don't take charge and command respect as the head of the pack the Akita will take that role.

I am happy the your Akita listens to you at 14 weeks, but this dog was a year old and was very unruly. He can now be taken out where every the owner wants and she does not have to worry about him acting out. Plus if you have a female in my experiences, the tend to listen better.
