2008 Film Your Issue semi-finalist, by then-17 year old Amina Vance, from Kent, Ohio. Says Amina: "I come from a small town, I'm 17 and I have many beliefs that need to be expanded on. My inspiration comes from the people of this world and the struggles they go through. I believe everyone deserves a chance to prove themselves no matter what the situation is. I think the world should give people more chances, this world would be so much better. I know people with disabilties have just as much as a chance as we do.I feel we need to give them more of a chance, ive met a few people and they have made a huge impact on my life that no one could replace. These kids deserve the best in life, I just think iI should share my wealth of knowing them. The world just needs to think and give more opportunity and stop being so one lame in there thinking."

My wife's mom was pregnant with her younger brother and told by the doctors that due to complications during her second trimester there could be serious consequences is she didn't have an abortion.

she chose to have the baby anyways and suffered from a heart attack while giving birth and died, her baby was without oxygen for multiple minutes and suffered severe brain and developmental dysfunction.

When she was only 7, and her brother was 4, he had a brain aneurysm that took his life...
