In the part of the C note I prefer to play Cadd9 like this -> x32033

The little E cord is pressed in the 3th fret.

heeeeeey ?marke! im a newbie to guitar but not to buckley. im having problems creating the same key sound as you are in this video. i looked at ultimate guitar tabs but they must have it in another key because i have agreat ear also and its def not the same key as the real song. help????

Nice lesson! Just for the record, the C chord on this first progression is a Csus2 and has an added 5th (G) on the high E string, so the voicing is CDGDG. At least it is in the original album version. The rest of the voicings aren't as relevant but that high G can be heard clearly and really gives the song part of its character :)
