This is a clip from the 1956 Golden Hawk Restoration series. The Hardtop Convertible body style was introduced in the late 1940s and was very popular into the 1970s. This is a brief look at that body style. A lot of people think that a car is a Hardtop if it has a steel or hard top, but "you" old folks know better. Don't we!

  • Nice Car! Also, what is the name of the song?

  • @Pacolikespie1967 Thank you. The name of the song is "Cross Over" by Ray Conniff recorded in1956. This is from a series of 7 inch LPs that Ray Conniff did in 1956 called Dance The Bop. It has been posted by Wilown01. Just search for Ray Conniff - Cross Over - 1956
