I agree with you. I'm from Italy and it's a shame that she's well known in Europe just to be Betty Rizzo in Grease. In my opinion she's one of best American actresses of her generation. Brilliant, dramatic... as you said she's great in everything she does.
It seems to me she is a bit underrated.

@IrishEyes1989 oh this was a great interview, I love it how she says she can have sex with a 27 year old and no one would go :''eww'':)))) She's brilliant. Out of Practice is great, too, comedy and drama work for her, just as they do for Allison Janney:)

She's great in everything she does. Most women are lucky to get one brilliant, complex role, let alone several. I particularly loved her in Six Degrees, and The West Wing. She has incredible presence on screen, and she was the PERFECT woman to play Martin Sheen's wife; she came off as smarter than him.
