I DID NOT MAKE THIS AMV. I found it at animemusicvideos.org. Footage is from the anime series called Now and Then, Here and There. The song is Mad World by Gary Jules. I remember this video used to be here but I don't see it anymore so I thought I should share it again.

Two great tastes that taste great together... NTHT is one of those forgotten epics of anime, often overlooked but near and dear to those who've experienced it. You might have been able to find a better song, but it would have been a long and difficult search, and you would have wound up with something really obscure. An excellent video in every respect.

It's about a boy who meets a mysterious girl, and gets sent to the future while trying to protect her. The sun has become a red giant, making water scarce, and the mysterious girl he met has an ability to produce water. Generally, the anime is about using children for war, though, and the selfish actions of adults. It really is good.
