New stroker 416/LS3 short block. Been breaking YT 1.7 rocker arms. I heard the ticking while driving. Ticking only present with throttle applied. I pulled the valve cover, no broken rockers. I think it may be a bad lifter.

  • BRD_PREY,

    I am on LS1TECH user name kidreno_21.

I just posted to a thread of a LS2 GTO that broke a YT lifter.

The sound you hear is an exhaust leak off the header. I just tightened everything up and it went away.
