When Robert Foxworth left after season 6, the show's tone changed and the steady flow of storyline just dried up. FC knew how to blend in its guest stars and gave the feel of a night time drama. It lost its luster after Chase died and the writing went down hill they had new ppl producing and totally jumped the shark by making richard and Angela mother and son. Personally seasons 1-6 were great..
