This video has been locked. I considered deleting it, but decided it had way too many views and such a great rating to just throw away. I have re-recorded it because after watching this nearly 3 years later, I see I was younger... and rushing to cover it... I didn't do it justice though many of you think I did. I will leave it up so you can at least feel the excitement I was feeling at the time... having just got into Jeff's music! But I must refer you to the new one. It's in the video response. Me playing Neutral Milk Hotel's "Oh Comely." I didn't do it precisely the way Jeff Mangum does... I mean who could, right? Also, I was using live capture through my computer instead of this being a pre-recorded video so for some reason (ram overflow?) the audio went out for a second or two at around 5:38 but jesus... this song is so long I wasn't about to do the whole damn thing again. Also people argue over the precise lyrics (hang for your hollow ways / painful you're always) so I did the one I learned it by.
