  • Without diminishing the talent of Mary Sherhart, clearly a remarkable lady who has embraced the beauty of tradicional Bosnian songs, this is not a good interpretation of a classic sevdalinka. The most obvious flaw is the vocal walkabout (e.g. first verse ŽIVA/MILA and repeated in subsequent verses). If an acclaimed singer from the former Yugoslavia were to overstretch the characteristic protocol of sevdah, in the manner Mary has done, they would get a hammering from the critics. Regards

  • kraljice!!!Svaka cast!!!LONG LIFE SIS!!!

  • nista vise nije kao sto je nekada bilo...falo bogu ima jos ovaki ljudi kao mary:))))))

  • @marysherhart its just amazing to me that you can sing sevdah! Because you really need to sing it from your soul. Just by singing it you are showing that you really feel it and have it in your soul. Its remarkable as many bosnian singers cant sing it because they dont have it in their soul. Congratulations Mary and hopefully you will sing many more sevdalinki. Many regards from New York!
