Its a West Highland White, which is the white version of the Cairn Terrior. I have a Cairn x, which looks like a black version of a Westie. They are awesome animals. Im totally converted to the Cairn - they have a low allergy index thus good for those who have allergies, they are tough, fiesty, and a typical terrier (ie they love to dig and chase small furries).

To maconsumner...Westies are highly intelligent, loyal and loving. They respond to how they are treated with like behavior. I believe all Westie owners know who the original "nasty little s**t" is.

I had a West highland terrier and it was a nasty little shit. It’s hard to keep them white and pretty like this because they fight hard at bath and grooming time. Whenever I let him outside he intentionally got nasty and dirty then as soon as you let him in he would shit on the floor. You could not let him around children because it took almost nothing to get him to bite. I had to get rid of him. Bad dog!!!
