  • the first amendment didn't establish the freedom of religion, of speech, the press or the right of the people to assemble. the first amendment recognized freedoms that already existed and established limits on our government's authority and use of force against it's own people.

    i like what you're saying for the most part but you need to do away with words like "allow and grant"
