I think both learned one from each other and the result is that amazing collection of 70' Elton songs, with those drumming lines that you immediately recognize.

:-) It is my dream to play with him. Have been blessed in performing with and befriending other members of Elton's band, but of all the famous drummers I've had the honor of performing with, I would still choose Nigel over any of them (with all due respect) as much of what I've written has him in my mind as the drummer. The only other drummer I'd dream to play with is Ringo, who actually is very similar to Nigel in musicianship and how he plays the song, not the beat. Rock on Erika!
