Pianos and organs are completely the same, and completely different, but you will be fine.
In general you dont need to move too fast on the pedals, and the rich sound seems to be quite forgiving for small mistakes, I don't know much though.. well practically nothing.. maybe you should ignore me ;/

Hi, great playing!
I've played piano by ear for a good few years now. I'm soon to start organ lessons. How long do you think it will take me to pick up reading the sheet music and playing the pedals in unison with the octaves so I can play hymns beautifully like yourself? Any advice?

Pedal playing is all about muscle memory - before long, you'll sit at an organ and "know" where the notes are... until that happens, you just simply play while staring at your feet. Heck, you might ALREADY be playing the pedals beautifully, it's taken me so long to respond to this! Let me know how you're doing...

It's a Rodgers from the early 1990s. Not bad, for its vintage...
