This is the most amazing security door I have seen to date and I have been in the security business for over 30 years. It's from a company in Deerfield Beach called Master Security Doors.
I checked out the website @ mastersecuritydoors.com & I ordered my first door yesterday.
CHECK IT OUT!!! You will be amazed!!!!

  • Big deal, I'll just break in thru the window.

  • Great door, but I hope we (the fire department) can get in another route since it will be impossible to get through it! And the home owneres need to make sure they practice unlocking it in a hurry if it is there only way out in the event of a fire....All technology has its upsides and downsides...

  • Even if you have lived in a rural area for decades and have never been robbed before, that doesnt guarantee you never will be robbed in the future.Even if its not that likely that your home will be broken into, please think a little bit about home security.

  • Why do people keep saying shit about the damn Window.. just buy safety glass or ballistics glass?

Internal Knox Boxes w/ alarm is open.

  • Great Door. Now for a truly safe house: - Have this door. - Anti climb razor spikes on backyard wall. - Cameras for property with motion and heat sensors to alert to possible breaches. - Multiple 110 decibel siren and strobe lights. - Security film on all windows and patio doors. - Windows and patio doors have impact sensor. - Setting off the impact sensor results in internal automatic steel shutters deploying. - Internal safe room. - Handgun / shotgun. - Alarm buried phone line / cell

If the apartment is on the 3rd floor, I don't see why you would need as much security as you do in a house :-)

  • 99.9% of residential doors swing IN, which is MUCH easier to "kick" open, than a door that swings OUT, like the one here on the video. You could take sledge hammers to a regular commercial 18ga steel door that swings OUT, and not get it to open either... The door hits the stop on the frame, so it CAN'T go in. I'm sure this is a strong door, but its testing is flawed.

  • Wow, not very impressed with the "hurricane" board launcher. Already dropping in the 10 feet before it hits the door...If it was actually moving fast, it would shatter on impact and hit at the same level shot from. It dropped almost a foot before it hit.

  • @SunsetSupermanRMB what if the apartment is in the 3rd floor?

  • Strong door? Brake a window... Funny to have security door like this on a house built with light wood panels and large windows :)

  • if the locks melt together, and a fireman needs to save you, he won't be able to break the door!
