@SassyTheWhiteMaltese I love these two characters, although Sheldon more than Penny to be honest. As sweet as this episode was, though, I still think Sheldon comes very much under the asexual category. He isn't attracted to Penny... alas, because they have the best on-screen chemistry; just in terms of the material in their snarking, it's the funniest bit in all episodes where they feature together.

@Anthon1986 You are misunderstanding the term "chemistry" a lot.

For a scene to work that well there has to be chemistry between the actors. You cannot have chemistry on your own (according merely to colloquial meanings)

Chemistry is not exclusive to "romance" that's why a lot of people like Sheldon/Penny scenes, because they have insane chemistry, not romantic (right now), but chemistry nonetheless.
