OZOMATLI playing Revolution Hall in Troy, New York on Sunday, March 15th 2009. Ozomatli was formed in Los Angeles in 1995 .They are known both for their vocal activist viewpoints and their wide array of musical styles - including salsa, jazz, funk, reggae, world fusion and a bunch of other styles all melded together for a very exciting and unique sound. Ozomatli's line up has had a few changes over the years (they have had as many as 10 band members and as few as 7) including: Raúl "El Bully" Pacheco, Ulises Bella, Jiro Yamaguchi, Cut Chemist, Chali 2na, Wil-Dog Abers, Mairo Calire, Rene "Spinobi" Dominguez, Justin "Niño" Porée, Asdrubal Sierra, and Jabu. They are know for putting on a very high energy concert-check them out if you get the chance! Opening act was "Lionize" for this tour in 2009.
