  • Mr Eastwood's acting was amazing, a secret lover to take you away, being tender, romantic & true. Never seen him play such a role before. Love his smiles as he made her laugh in the kitchen.

I love the was they looked SO real, expression lines are there for a reason. To show the person inside that was and is now.I am disgusted that the money men wanted someone younger than Meryl, how could someone like that KNOW how to express all that MS could at her age.

Life experience - no substitute. IMHO

  • meryl streep is a really really good actress it never felt like she was acting was all natural I could feel every emotion she expressed in the movie ended up crying such a great movie

  • This is one of my favourite films, the other being 'Falling in Love' - both Meryl Streep. She is absolutely brilliant in every film she undertakes and this one brings me to tears every time. Thank you for giving us such pleasure Meryl.

  • This is one of the few cases where the movie is superior to the book. Absolutely heartbreaking.
