As sylvie2909 says, there's no need to be quite so uncharitable. Having said that, I saw them last night with Wishbone Ash and Focus. They were absolutely atrocious. (Clearly exemplified by the above.) Sorry Tony, you may have been "good" once and provided for the needs of the late 60s, early 70s quite successfully but you haven't stood the test of time. I have to say that the performance last night was much worse than a third rate, spotty youthed, pub band. Sorry.
Tony has genuine enthusiasm for blues rock experimentation . His grunge blues will never be for everyone however if you enjoy it, go. No one forces anyone to a noisy Groundhogs gig As someone said 'If its too loud, your too old' . I has seen some great G-hogs gigs and some that, well have ben a bit off the mark. It dont really matter. In the last few years ive seen 17yr old First Aid Kit and 94 yr old Honeyboy edwards , Both spellbinding age dont matter. anyway , each to their own. Rock on.
