  • @pomdavid61 Hi there I know its been a while since you put this comment up but I will have a go to answering it. You have already given the answere but 1 can do the job but when you have a load every thing tightens up and things can get a bit tight hence the clearance if this is wrong please let me know as I am about to go for my level 3 at the start of next year.

  • it is bad i hate it i have the same aescender and when i do tree rescue i love to use a gigi with a munter tie off with a 3to five hook up so that way if i get hurt i can lower my self and the person safe to the ground

    As an admitted newbie, please can you explain why there were three carabiners used to secure the final pulley block at the hauling end? (Probably clearest at 0:38)

    Unless it was to give clearance with the other block which would make sense, I can't see why an extra two crabs are needed when just one could be used to secure the pulley to the webbing loop..
