thats not a "seaplane", its a floatplane, if you tried to land that on most places of the ocean (excluding bays, harbors, ect) you would most likely crash.

When flying an amphib, and landing on water, raise the gear moron.
Gear down on water - its a 'horror thought' for seaplane pilots. Nobody here knows - it could even be a warning system failure (unlikely). Never judge people before you been there yourself.
