After thinking about how to make a crank case that's somewhat easy to use, I've come up with this model. It's still a WIP and needs a back piece to weld on, but should be done soon if everything goes to plan.

I might hold off on it to rework the heads and pistons and make them compatible with some other models.

  • what map is that?

  • @Kidozy gm_halos_1

  • is there anywhere I can get the newest revision of the old pack, seeing as the SVN is down

  • @viperfan7 I relocated it to my server at home and put a new link in my profile.

I haven't touched the repo in a long time though due to lack of interest and it's still at r25. The crank case models haven't been included due to being very buggy.

  • I badly want to design a timing chip for 4 stroke V8's for you, I hate seeing rangers upset a normally beautiful piece.

  • @mwhite112393 The only thing about a ranger chip is you can't easily skew the firing order like with rangers. The V8 in that configuration puts out a miserable 43 hp.

I since made modified heads for a longer stroke, and tweaked the firing order and got it up to 114 hp. It's still a far cry from those retarded looking engines that get like 7000 hp, but I prefer realism over something that puts out unrealistic power. I have a video of an early test of like 86 hp but probably won't upload it

  • @xXpezcoolXx I dropped it in my SE5a and it fit with the exception of being a bit too tall and a bit too long. The heads were poking out of the place for the exhaust headers and the firing wheel was rammed back into the cockpit, but it still worked.

  • @rolandlub Uh, why would they do that? Gmod physics aren't anything close to realistic.

  • do you think some companys are ussing gmod for testing?
