Highlights: Penguins @ Senators: Game 4 2010 Playoffs

What a wild game! Certainly not typical for playoff hockey, but when the Pens get the W, I'll take it!

About half way through the first period, my TV started to bug out. It soon became unwatchable. Naturally, the Pens scored and I missed it. I tried other channels and they worked so it was only FSN. I checked thePensBlog real quick and saw a few others were having trouble too so I knew it wasn't just me. Sorry for missing probably some hits or saves at the end of the first. I did manage to get Geno's goal from the What You Missed section.

But it came back for the 2nd period, which was good news because there were 8 goals scored in this period! WOW! I believe I heard a "Crosby Sucks" chant. Hey Sens fans, why don't you ask the Flyers fans how that works out? Sid with 2 goals and 2 assists in the game. The Pens get 2 goals back to back and it's 3-0 quickly. Then Crosby scores again and it's 4-0. Elliott is pulled.

It looked all but over at that point, but the Sens battled back. They got the next two goals. They had a chance to pull within one on a powerplay but Superstar gets a shorty. You think, "That's got to kill this momentum" but no, the Sens then get a 5-3 and score. It's 5-3. I think I heard a "Fleeeury" chant from the crowd. LOL! How can chant like that start when the Pens have already chased YOUR goalie from the net? I mean come on.

The Pens keep battling and end up with another goal by the end of the period. This time it was Kunitz. Cooke, Talbot, Kunitz, Staal. All had goals tonight. GREAT secondary scoring.

The refs try and get the Sens back in it with another 5-3 goal, but then Staal closes it out with a PP goal of his own. 7-4. It gets chippy at the end of the third. Ruutu going after Cooke, Sens taking penalties at the end, total frustration on their part.

Close it out on home ice! LET'S GO PENS!

Yep, that's exactly what happened. Any Sens fans that think otherwise are just bitter they lost and don't want to blame their own team. Meanwhile, the only reason they had any chance at coming back was getting those 5-3 goals.

Crosby sucks chants? He has 13 points in 5 games so far in this series. He won the Rocket Richard Trophy and he won you Canadian faggots a gold medal. I'm pretty sure thats greatness.

My buddies and I spilled 3 beers and 1 ashtray after that goal by laughing ourselves right out of the chairs we were in...and contiued for almost 5 minutes with the non-stop replays.

I understand its playoff hockey, but I was really surprised at the boos and "crosby sucks chants" coming from them. This guy won them a gold medal. You'd think they would have a little more loyalty and class than that.
