I swear to god, gamers these days are becoming dumber and dumber. Do you people EVEN KNOW what this game is about and what it is? Halo or Crysis? wow...

Go look it up, its nothing like those games. Its a bit more like MAG where you get contracts from organisations but in this games case those organisations/contractors are EVE online PC players.

@bluenova123 Mercenaries are more expensive than commercially bought ships, keep in mind that the AEGIS class armor is very expensive to produce. That is why corporations are the only ones that can afford such a price.

The prices look a bit high. The cost of the body armor is around that of a t1 frigate.

@Deathbyreality1 and there are lots and lots of players fighting on the map. This game has so much depth, and is so different from Halo that any comparison is only superficial. Halo is fighting aliens in single player, and 16 players spamming plasma grenades and bunnyhopping in multiplayer. Dust 514 has no singleplayer. its an MMO where your actions can change the universe. Battles are fought for a reason, no silly flags to capture. This is about planet conquest, and corporate warfare for profit

@Deathbyreality1 central leader that commands soldiers from a massive ship RTS-style who can deploy installations on the ground (like spawn points and other things). Its full of many weapons, armors, and vehicles (that you buy with battle points), and equipment. So much is customizable, like you can select the kinds of guns you want on the vehicles, what modules you want added to alter performance. You can also customize your armors with with modules as well. The maps are literally 5 kilometers

@Deathbyreality1 Actually its a spinoff of a ship-flying MMO game called EVE thats very player driven, corporations and alliances made of thousands of players fight for control. Dust 514 takes place in the same player-driven universe/servers as that EVE. In Dust 514 you play as mercenaries to conquer planets, you can be a lone merc, join/form a corporation of mercs, or even join the same corps as EVE players. Its a squad based tactical shooter with a central leader on each side that commands

@Only100Letters ...You do hopefully realize that the game was in late Alpha stage when this gameplay vid was made?

Also, the reason for it to be on ps3 only is cause for one Xbox live were too demanding way unflexable.

Reason nr 2. This game could never be on ps3 if it were also on PC. If you want to know why just message me. I will try to be short and to the point ; )

@maxihzb Erm... There is a very special reason for that, they were planning to have it also on Xbox 360 (and the console that comes after that) but the rules on Xbox live prevented it (+microsoft said they would not make any exceptions which is, quite frankly, a shame)

That is only one of the smaller reasons for it to be only on ps3. Is it okay if I send you a message entailing why only on ps3? I promise to try to be short and to the point.
