I have very mixed feelings about this video. I am by no means an experienced mastering engineer, but my tracks sound fairly decent. Please don't assume my way is the right way, mastering is a mystery and only very few enlightened ones walk this earth. :D

  • hey there man, loving the tutorials! just wondering what pc set-up you've got? im looking to upgrade from my bait laptop to a real pc and noticed when you pressed play there was no dsp increase! i'd get that track up on here and i wouldn't even be able to press play so specs please!!

  • @KorseandBassHound I'll make a studio tour video soon, you'll find out about all my gear then.

  • What School did you go to?

  • @DJTYCOMIX One with chalk and teachers.

  • Thanks for the video by the way - it was definitely helpful. The thing that struck me the most was how compressed/controlled your mix was before mastering. My mixes are a lot more dynamic before the mastering stage and as a result I probably end up trying to boost the gain more than I should have to.

  • @djangotsp That also depends a lot on the genre of music you make and how the track is meant to be played.

  • you've changed my confidence to do this shit. thank you. Please do a brief MIXING TUTORIAL. DRUMS vs LEAD vs BASS EQs. That's the main thing that rattles my nerves before playing tracks for people. What do you do? What's your general rule. please share with a vid
